Not all the best walks have be be long walks. The Steeple hill behind Lochgoilhead Village is well worth the puff to climb. There is a good path heading up to an rock used by the local outdoors centres for abseiling, and a rougher path the rest of the way. It’s a steady climb and in no time at all the views start to open up. As usual around these hills – you hardly ever meet anyone. From the top there are views down over the village and over to the Drimsynie Estate, the Caravan & Chalet Centre and all the way down Loch Goil.
