Are you a fan of Rusty? Would you like to see some real red squirrels in the wild?

If you are coming to Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village you may be lucky enough to spot some of our little furry friends on the Red Squirrel Trail situated very close the the holiday park in the forests of Loch Goil!

Rusty the Red Squirrel was chosen as our mascot, as red squirrels are a protected species native to the local Argyll area and live in the forests surrounding our parks. Rarely seen red squirrels can even be spotted within the grounds of our various holiday parks. We were keen to promote this wildlife to children and increase their awareness of squirrels and their natural habitats.

See the website for details of the Argyll Forest Park ‘Red Squirrel’ Trail at Loch Goil : www.cormonachan-woodlands.co.uk
